Day 3 : Jaipur Local Sightseeing

Morning Visit Birla Temple then to Amber Fort (11 kms from the city) built by Raja Mansingh-I in 1592. It is located high on a hill overlooking Maota Lake on the forefront and can be reached by Jeep or on the elephant back. After this Drive past to HawaMahal – the palace of wind & visit to City Palace which is located in the heart of the city. It was constructed by Maharaja SawaiMansingh-II. The most famous structure of the city palace are the Chandra Mahal, the Mubarak Mahal, Maharani’s Palace, ShriGovindDev Temple and City Palace Museum. Nearby walk to JantarMantar an astronomical observatory. Evening free for shopping & over night halt at Jaipur.

Day 4 : Jaipur Ajmer Pushkar (5-6 Hrs)

This morning you will drive to the Ajmer on Ajmer Dargah Darshan & proceed to Pushakr Visit Bramha Temple & Night halt at Pushkar.

To Bikaner ( 7 Hrs.)
In the morning drive to Bikaner, this is true desert country and situated directly on the ancient caravan route which linked west / central Asia and North India. Enroute Asia’s biggest camel breeding farm to watch different breeds of Camels. VisitJunagarh Fort which includes Anup Mahal, GajMandir, Sheesh Mahal and Prachina Museum, Lalgarh Palace. Day 5 : Bikaner to Jaisalmer (7 Hrs.)

This morning you will drive to the desert city of Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the “Golden City,” it’s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja’s Palace and intricately carved Jain temples. Check into your hotel on arrival and rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Jaisalmer to Sand Dunes at Sam

After brekfast visit Jaisalgarh & havelis fort after lunch we proceed for Sand Dunes at Sam. Sam is located at a distance of 42 Km from Jaisalmer town. This place is a famous tourist spot of this area. There are sand Dunes here where sunset can be enjoyed. The combination of sand Dunes and camels with a sun at background gives a spectacular look. Overnight at Tent at Sand Dunes.

Day 7 : Sam Dunes (Jaisalmer) to Jodhpur (7hrs.)

Early in the morning depart for Jodhpur by surface approx. 335 kms / 7 hrs. On arrival check-in at the hotel.Later in the afternoon, followed by a sightseeing tour of the erstwhile Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought jharokhas of the havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masony. At the foot of the fort lies the JaswantThada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. The evening will be at your leisure for shopping in the markets of Jodhpur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Jodhpur – Pune

Breakfast at the hotel, later Visit UmaidBhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world’s largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. UmaidBhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones drawn fromtheChittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. Night Train to Pune at 23.00 (Monday)
